Zeer.com: A new way to shop for Gluten Free Foods

Zeer.com is a website that has over 30,000 products and lists their 'gluten free safety status.' The website has four categories to label foods: labeled as gluten free, contains gluten, appears gluten free, and may contain gluten. When you click on a product, it will tell you the status as well as provide you with products that are similar and gluten free. Zeer.com claims to be very up to date on the latest information regarding celiac disease and the gluten free diet.

There is a monthly subscription fee to Zeer.com and I haven't decided yet if I want to pay for the subscription, but the website is definitely worth checking out. They let you access some of the website without paying the fee so you can get an idea of what it's all about.

Great blog! I'm sorry to leave this comment on a post like this, but you didn't have an email address anywhere that I could write to. I'm starting up a wiki for the DC area, to provide people with all sorts of local information. Gluten free food is a really important topic to me, ever since my stepmother was diagnosed with celiac disease last year. So one of the first pages I made on the DC wiki dining guide was a guide to places that offer gluten free options! (After all, I have to know where to take my stepmom if she comes to visit!) I could really use your help populating the page with helpful information. I'm sure you're busy, but I hope you have a little time to help out. I already linked to this blog on the wiki as a resource!

Here's the wiki page - you can just sign up for an account and start editing if you like:

Or, if you have any questions, you can reach me by email at steph AT poorerthanyou DOT com. Thanks!
